A great leader who led by example. It is a privilege to work for a leader who is also a coach and a mentor - which I had when I worhed with Mr Suranjith Godagama. I had the pleasure of working with him for one year at Union Assurance PLC where we had a young, energetic and an enthusiastic sales team to work with. His enthusiastic approach to all the projects and his ability to coach the team by understanding the requirements of them were two exceptional qualities in him, that I wanted to follow. Mr Godagama always wanted us to learn and grow faster and the amount of confidence he gave me led me to come up with few revolutionary initiatives for the company. One of the excellent opportunities at Union Assurance PLC were the training and development programmes employees were allowed to take part in. Out of all the programmes, my favourite memory would be Suranjith's training session on neuro linguistic programming. I think it's the manner he taught the audience on the subject and the simple easy to remember lessons which I can still recall after several years. Wish you success in your future endeavors!
